Automatically Displaying Windows on Startup

By default, the Dbx Commands Window, the Program Input/Output Window, and the Breakpoints Window are not opened automatically when the Debugging window first opens. You can choose to have them opened automatically.

To automatically display windows when the Debugging window first opens:

1. In the Debugging Window, choose Debug Debugging Options.

2. In the Debugging Options Dialog Box, click the Window Layout tab

3. Click on the appropriate radio button to determine whether the Dbx Commands window is displayed separately from the Debugging window. The default is to display the Dbx Commands window in the Debugging window.

4. Check the appropriate checkbox to enable each of the following windows:

• Dbx Commands window

• Program I/O window

• Breakpoints window

5. Click Save as Defaults, then click OK to apply it to all sessions.
