Window Layout Defaults

When you are debugging a program, you may need to have several windows open as you work, including the Dbx Commands Window, Program Input/Output Window, and Breakpoints Window. The Custom Buttons window already opens automatically if you have added buttons.

In the Window Layout tab of the Debugging Options Dialog Box, you can:

• Choose to have the Dbx Commands window displayed as part of the Debugging Window, or as a separate window (see Displaying the dbx Commands Window Separately)
• Choose to have the Dbx Commands window, the Program Input/Output window, and the Breakpoints window open immediately when you open the Debugging window (see Automatically Displaying Windows on Startup)
• Set size defaults for the Dbx Command and Program Input/Output windows (see Setting the Size of Dbx Commands and Program Input/Output Windows)
• Choose to have the evaluation context and session status information displayed at the top of the Debugging window (Displaying Session Status and Context Information)
