By default, the Dbx Commands window is displayed as a pane of the Debugging Window. You can choose to display it as a separate window by selecting this option in the Window Layout tab of the Debugging Options Dialog Box.

In the Dbx Commands window, you can enter debugging commands as if you were working directly in dbx. However, you will find that most debugging commands are available through the Debugging window. To open the Dbx Commands window from Sun WorkShop, open the Debugging window and choose Windows &bigrightarrow; Dbx Commands.
