Options Menu |
The Startup Options dialog box allows you to specify options for when you start up the Sun WorkShopTM programming environment. To open the Startup Options dialog box, choose Options Text Editor Options in the Main Window.
The Startup Options dialog box has the following buttons:
Restore Size and Position | Restores each window to its recorded size and position at startup. |
Restores Size, Position, and Visible Windows | Restores each window to its recorded size, position, and open or closed state. For example, if you have the Debugging window open and the Browsing window open but iconified when you exit Sun WorkShop, the next time you start Sun WorkShop the Debugging window will be displayed and the Browsing window will be open and iconified. |
Show Splash Screen | Shows the splash screen at startup. To bypass the splash screen at startup, deselect the checkbox. |
Show Welcome Dialog | Opens the Welcome to Sun WorkShop dialog box at startup, where you can create a new project (a wizard guides you through the process) or open an existing project. To bypass the Welcome to Sun WorkShop dialog box at startup, deselect the checkbox. |
Previous Session Exit Layout | Uses the window layout in use at exit from the previous session. |
Preferred Layout | Saves the current window settings as your preferred layout to be used at startup (click Set Preferred Layout to save or cancel the settings). |
Default WorkShop Layout | Uses the window layout from the first time you started Sun WorkShop. |
OK | Applies the options and closes the dialog box. |
Cancel | Closes the dialog box without making any changes to the options. |
Help | Opens online help for this dialog box. |
