Opening the Data Display When a Display Value Changes

By default, the Data Display remains closed when an expression changes value. You can choose to have it open automatically when a display value changes and otherwise remain iconified.

To open the Data Display when an expression changes value:

1. In the Data Display Window, choose Display Options. Or, in the Debugging Window, choose Debug Debugging Options, then click the Data Display Windows tab.

2. Select the checkbox labeled Open Data Display window when any display value changes.

3. Click OK to apply the change to the current session, or click Save as Defaults and then click OK to apply it to all sessions.
