Setting the Step Range and Legend of Area Graph

By default, the number of steps in the range of an area graph is set to 10, and no range legend is displayed. You can set the number of steps in the range and choose to have a legend displayed.

To set number of steps in a range, and whether they have a legend:

1. In the Debugging Window, choose Debug Debugging Options. Or, in the Sun WorkShop main window, choose Options Debugging Options.

2. In the Debugging Options Dialog Box, click the Data Grapher tab.

3. At Ranges, enter a value in the No. of steps text box.

4. Select the Show range legend checkbox to display the legend next to the graph display.

5. Click OK to apply the change to the current session, or click Save as Defaults and then click OK to apply it to all sessions..
