The Edit menu in the Building Window provides the following choices:

Accumulate Output Toggles between displaying a single build process in the Build Output Display Pane and dividing the pane to display output for subsequent builds or other concurrent build processes. When set to display single build output, previous build output is cleared from the display pane when a new build starts.
Clear Results Removes build output from the build output display pane.
