Pattern Search and Source Browsing

In Source Browsing Mode, the title of the dialog box is Source Browsing Database Directory; in Pattern Search Mode, the title of the dialog box is Pattern Search Directory. Otherwise, the dialog boxes are identical.

This dialog box allows you to change your browsing directory. For source browsing, the directory you browse must contain a source browsing database (see Source Browsing Databases for more information). For pattern search, you can search any source code directory. To open the dialog box, choose Browse Change Browsing Directory in the Browsing Window.

The Source Browsing Database Directory or Pattern Search Directory dialog box has the following components:

Directory	Displays the current directory.
Directory list	Displays all the subdirectories of the current directory.
Name	Allows you to specify the directory to be displayed. Click Update to display the specified directory in the Directory status line.
OK	Updates the selection in originating window and closes the dialog box.
Update	Changes the selection in the Directory status line without closing the dialog box.
Cancel	Closes the dialog box without making changes.
Help	Opens online help about this dialog box.
