Analyzing Program Performance

Sun WorkShop provides a pair of tools that you use together to collect and analyze performance data on your application:

• The Sampling Collector, accessed from the Debugging Window, collects performance data and stores it in an experiment.
• The Performance Analyzer provides graphical displays of the data from the Sampling Collector, so you can browse the experiment recorded by the Sampling Collector.
