Opening Multiple Frames in an Editor

When the Re-Usable button is selected in the Vi Editor Window or the NEdit Editor Window, the editor displays subsequently opened files in the existing editor window. If the Re-Usable button is deselected, the editor displays subsequently opened files in a new editor window.

If you try to open a new file without saving the current file, a dialog box opens asking whether you whether you want to save and reuse, discard and reuse, or open a new editor window and preserve the current edits without saving them.
