The Collect Data radio buttons allow you to enable or disable data collection:

On The Sampling Collector is enabled and remains active for all subsequent runs. For each subsequent run it creates a new experiment to store the data for that run.
Off The Sampling Collector is disabled. It does not collect and store data until you select the On button or reopen the Sampling Collector Window.
