Customizing the Array Display

You can change the array display from the options panel of the Data Graph Window. You can also set automatic display updating from the options panel.
Click on one of the graph types to view an array represented as a line, filled areas, a bar graph, or points (scatter graph).
To change the view of an area graph:
To see the range of array values:
- 1. Select the Show range legend checkbox to display the legend next to the graph display.
- 2. Type a value in the No. of steps text box or click on the arrows on the box to increase or decrease the value.
- Select the Show long name checkbox to display the application name, file name, and program name containing the array and the array name above the array display.
To see the change in values:
- To turn on automatic updating as you step through a program, click on the Update at: Program stops option. As the program stops at each breakpoint, the array displayed is automatically updated. The default setting is off.
- To turn on updating at specific periods during a program's run, click on the Update at: Fixed time interval option. The default time is set for one second intervals. You can change the time interval from the Data Graph category of the Debugging Options Dialog Box. Choose Graph
