Data Display Defaults

In the Data Display Windows tab of the Debugging Options Dialog Box, you can change the default behavior of the Data Display in several ways. You can choose:

• Whether to have the Data Display shown as a tab in the Debugging Window or as a separate window (see Choosing How to Show the Data Display)
• To automatically open the Data Display when any display value changes (see Opening the Data Display When a Display Value Changes)
• To remove pointer items from the Data Display when they are dereferenced (see Removing Pointer Items When Dereferenced)
• To open a pop-up window along with the Data Display when you display an aggregate data structure (Opening a Pop-up Window with the Data Display)
