Window Behavior Defaults

By default, the Program Input/Output window and the Runtime Checking window are opened and brought to the front when their contents change. You can choose to turn off this behavior for each of these windows.

To not open and bring to the front the Program Input/Output Window or the Runtime Checking Window when its contents change:

1. In the Debugging Window, choose Debug Debugging Options. Or, in the Sun WorkShop main window, choose Options Debugging Options.

2. In the Debugging Options Dialog Box, click the Window Behavior tab.

3. At Open and front windows when contents change, click the Program I/O checkbox or the Runtime Checking checkbox to deselect it.

4. Click OK to apply the change to the current session, or click Save as Defaults and then click OK to apply the change to all sessions.
