Debugging Behavior Defaults

In the Debugging Behavior tab of the Debugging Options Dialog Box, you can change the defaults for debugging behavior during your debugging session. You can:

• Set options for stepping through your program (se Allowing Steps to Start a Process and Allowing Breakpoints to Stop a Program While Stepping)
• Choose to pop the call stack to the first debuggable code source when execution stops (see Going Up the Stack When Execution Stops)
• Control the speed of a trace by setting the trace interval (see Setting the Trace Speed)
• Set the granularity of source line stepping (see Setting Step Granularity)
• Turn off the calling of destructors when popping frames from the call stack (see Calling Destructors When Popping Stack Frames)
• Turn off checking for valid subscripts when evaluating expression in FORTRAN 77 or Fortran 95 (see Setting Array Bounds Checking)
• Choose to save breakpoints with other program information to be reinstated in your next debugging session (see Saving Breakpoints From Session to Session)
