Debugging Output Defaults

In the Debugging Output category of the Debugging Options Dialog Box, you can change the defaults for output from your debugging sessions. You can:

• Choose to show full path and file names (see Setting the Path Name Length)
• Set a maximum output string length (see Setting the Maximum String Length)
• Set a base for printing integer values (see Setting the Output Base)
• Choose to show the compiler command line (see Showing the Compiler Command Line)
• Turn off verbose stack information (see Turning Off Verbose Stack Information)
• Choose where to send program output (see Redirecting a Program's Input/Output)
• For C+, set defaults for evaluating variables (see Turning On Dynamic Type and Showing Inherited Members)
• Choose to log an entire session to a file, and set the file name (see Logging an Entire Debugging Session to a File)
• Choose to log dbx commands to a file, and change the default file name (see Logging dbx Commands to a File)
