Use the Environment Variables dialog box to add, change, or delete Environment Variables or assign a value to or change the value of selected environment variables.
The Environment Variables dialog box has the following components:
| Persistent Environment Variables list | Displays a list of the environment variables set for your program. |
| More | Opens the Current Environment pane and toggles to Less. |
| Filter text box | Allows you to type a search pattern to narrow your choices (located above the Current Environment pane). |
| Current Environment list | Displays a list of the environment variables that are currently set. |
| <<Add | Adds a selection from the Current Environment list to the Persistent Environment Variables list. |
| Name text box | Allows you to type the name of a environment variable. |
| Value text box | Allows you to type a value for the environment variable. |
| Add | Adds the environment variable named in the Name text box to the Persistent Environment Variables list. |
| Change | Changes the selected environment variable. |
| Delete | Deletes the selected environment variable. |
| Delete All | Deletes all entries in the Persistent Environment Variables list. |
| Clear | Clears all entries in the Name and Value text boxes. |
| OK | Applies the changes and closes the dialog box. |
| Apply | Applies the changes but leaves the dialog box open. |
| Cancel | Closes the dialog box without applying changes. |
