To open this window, do one of the following:

Click on the Analyzer icon in the Sun WorkShop main window tool bar.

In the Sun WorkShop Debugging window, choose Windows Sampling Collector, then click the Performance Analyzer icon in the Sampling Collector tool bar.

Type analyzer at the command line.

The Analyzer window contains the following components:

The Experiment Menu Performs basic file operations and exits the Performance Analyzer
The View Menu Opens a new Analyzer window; lets you search the data display or select load objects to display; accesses data about selected data elements
The Options Menu Lets you select a text editor and manipulate the appearance of the main data display
The upper and lower Tool Bars Contain tools that enable you to select and manipulate the data display
The main display panes Display various types of data for your analysis
