Synchronization Wait Tracing Data | Viewing Summary Metrics for a Function or Load Object |
To change the types of data and the sort order in the Function List display:
![]() | Click Metrics... in the Tool Bars. |
The types of data listed in the Function List Metrics dialog box depend on the data collected by The Sampling Collector or the collect command (see the collect(1) man page). If all data types were selected in the Collector, the following are available from the Function List Metrics dialog box:
All the above data are available as a time in seconds or a count value and as a percentage of the total program metric. Hardware counter metrics whose count is in cycles are available as a time in seconds, a count value and a percentage of the total program metric.
The default metrics displayed are exclusive and inclusive user CPU time, exclusive and inclusive hardware counter metrics, inclusive synchronization wait counts and inclusive synchronization wait time, if the data for these metrics was collected. The defaults can be changed using a defaults file. See the er_print(1) man page for details.
In addition, you can choose to display the following for functions or load objects:
The names of functions or load objects are always displayed.
