To load an experiment into the Performance Analyzer:

1. Choose Experiment Load... from the Analyzer main menu to open the Load Experiment Dialog Box.

This dialog box opens for you automatically when you start up the Analyzer without an explicit experiment (see below).

2. In the Load Experiment list box, double-click the experiment you want to load, or type the name of the experiment in the Name text box and click OK.

To open the Performance Analyzer and load an experiment from the command line:
   Type

% analyzer experiment-name


Note - Loading an experiment discards all data for any previously loaded experiment in the Performance Analyzer. It does not affect recorded experiments.

Note - Unless you have specified otherwise, experiment names generated by
The Sampling Collector, the dbx collector command and the collect command (see the collect(1) man page) have the extension .n.er, where n is a number 1 or higher. This format is enforced by the collect command.
